It's starting to feel like winter.

It is finally starting to get really cold where I live. I don't think it has gotten over 35 degrees since last week...but this means I can finally start breaking out winter clothing!
I feel like I have gotten a lot of new clothing recently... I am blaming all of my purchases on stress. Last week I bought two floaty peasant tops from the same company in black and purple, a RL lace shirt, and a Lucky sailor sweater. Which I did need, because for some reason I only had 5 tops in my wardrobe. I think it is because my father is a serial shrinker of my clothing.
I am in the process of revamping my wardrobe.
Some Current things I am wanting.

Can you tell I love black?

Looks

I am becoming so tired of school. It feels so unrewarding sometimes, it is actually kind of distressing. I work so hard and I know I am working towards a goal but I still feel like it is all pointless. Nothing relaxes me more than coming home sitting down with a nice cup of tea and reading a fashion magazine or a blog. I was flipping through style.com and I have made a compilation of my favorite runway looks.

What fall trneds will you be trying?

Trends can be very tricky. Constantly going in and out of fashion but all trends return at one point or another. There are even some trends that reoccur every fashion week. When I am choosing a trend that I want to incorporate into my wardrobe I have three specific rules.
1. Is it realistic for the climate I live in?
2. Will I be able to wear it continuously for the next few years.
3. Does it tie into my personal style and aesthetic.
Here are the fall/Winter trends I am dying to try.

The Silk Shirt

One of my favorite items is the silk blouse/shirt. They are amazing nothing can make a girl feel more feminine and glamorous than a actual silk shirt. Now silk shirts look good in any color, especially neutrals such as white, peach, creme etc. However, it can be challenging to find the perfect fit of silk blouse. You want a shirt that drapes over your figure flattering your body while draping and hugging your body in flattering areas. I myself have only found two shirts so far that do this for me. One in peach and one in white and I am on a constant search for more because they are a crucial element to anyone's wardrobe. Mine are from J-crew but here are a few examples of beautiful silk shirts,

Hello World.

Hello to the big world of the internet. I know no one is probably reading this however I will continue blabbing on anyway. I have always really wanted to start a fashion blog...and I would love to major in journalism especially focusing on fashion journalism. I really would love to work at a magazine and I thought it would be a very good idea to start out working towards my goal, through blogging. The world of fashion blogging is very competitive and I know it will take a while before anyone actually starts reading my blog but I hope, eventually, people will enjoy reading this blog and will get to know me and my take on fashion.
Until the next post.
Ta ta for now!
